This video shows proof that the infinite sum of the fractions is equal to 1 by using simple mathematical illustration. This is simple proof without words or argumentation. The square can be divided infinitely many times. First we have a square with area 1, then we divide into half so each one has area 1/2. Then we divide the rectangle (only one of them) in to half and get two ares of 1/4. Continue this process infinitely many times and we get the infinite sum is equal to the total area of the whole square. This is a beautiful proof. #maths #art
