After fishing this river for 40 Years, Nothing surprises me. This is a Hybrid, White bass Striper Cross, Known as A Wiper". The small Head Wide body, & Yellow color Confirms This. They do not reproduce in the Wild, They are Lab Created!. Mostly found in Lakes & ponds. Also they are not Known for hitting Top Water baits. They like live bait or crank baits, and Grubs. I caught 10 Rockfish and over 20 bass, Spotted & largemouth.
