The Popcorn Pouring Machine - Reactica 2019 Official Video

Reactica 2019 once again breaks the record for biggest chain reaction in California! This year's machine has over 500 steps and pours a bucket of popcorn. After fully funding a Kickstarter, tackling all the logistics, and pulling many late build nights, I'm very proud of what we accomplished this year!

This year's event took place at The Tech Interactive in San Jose, CA from 8/3 to 8/9. The final falldown was on 8/10 for an in-person audience of hundreds while livestreamed to many more. A complete evidence packet, including footage of the machine, will be sent to Guinness World Records for an attempt at the Largest Rube Goldberg world record.

I am beyond grateful to have organized this event for another year. Thank you to the builders, museum staff, and countless other supporters. Thank you to everyone who visited to watch the build and attend the workshops. Reactica 2019 is the first live large-scale machine event of its kind and I can't wait to improve on it from here! (Reactica 2020?) :D
