Its been a while... Lets pick up where we left off and dive straight back into this epic voyage. Last October I set off on an exhibition into the Jane river region in search of a 19 year old Houn piners grave who drowned in the Jane river while working in 1901. While we gave it everything we had, after 3 days to get to the Jane, it left us little time to explore the area, along with failing bodies the maps of the area led us astray on multiple occasions costing us more and more time, which was already a limited resource due to the short window of weather we had. Leaving the area unsuccessfully we were forced to walk out over 2 days, the last day being 24 km which over the 9 hour period dropped 100mm of rain on the area, flooding streams and leaving us stranded only 50m from the safety of our car, extending our trip one extra day in which we had to cut across and connect to the safety of the Frenchmans Cap trail to cross the Franklin.

What will the new attempt bring? Victory? Defeat? A Thylacine? Lets find out.
