Описание к видео WORLD BANK CUTS INDIA GROWTH, ATHER IPO, ADANI EXIT, MEIL WINS ₹12,800 Cr CONTRACT!

Let’s quickly see what happened in the Indian Stock Market this week!

1. The World Bank has lowered India's growth forecast.
It reduced India's FY26 GDP forecast from 6.7% to 6.3%, citing global slowdown and policy uncertainty.
While FY25 growth was expected at 6.5%, actual growth lagged due to lower private investment and government spending.
Even though RBI cut interest rates and simplified rules, the global slowdown offset the benefits.
IMF also cut India's forecast from 6.5% to 6.2%.
World Bank suggests tax cuts and proper government investments could help boost growth.

2. Jefferies remains positive on India.
Christopher Wood, Jefferies' Global Head of Equity Strategy, advised investors to sell US stocks and increase investments in India, Europe, and China.
He believes US stocks are expensive and Trump’s tariff plans are causing uncertainty.
Last week, Sensex and Nifty posted a 4.5% gain, the best in four years.
Jefferies increased India’s weight in its Asia Pacific portfolio while reducing Taiwan’s.
Julius Baer experts are also bullish on India, especially large-cap stocks.

3. Air India CEO Campbell Wilson has stepped down as Air India Express Chairman.
Nipun Aggarwal has been appointed as the new Chairman.
This move is part of Tata Group’s restructuring.

4. Ather Energy has cut its IPO size by 18% to $308.3 million.
While founders and some investors are selling shares, Hero MotoCorp will retain its stake.
IPO bidding will start on April 28.
Funds will be used for manufacturing, R&D, marketing, and loan repayment.

5. Waaree Energies posted strong Q4 results.
Net profit grew by 34.1% to ₹618 crore, revenue rose 36.4% to ₹4,003.9 crore.
EBITDA doubled, and margins improved from 14.3% to 23%.
The company manufactured 2.06 GW solar modules in Q4 and 7.13 GW during FY25.
They also approved new manufacturing lines in Texas and Chikhli.

6. Adani Group officially exited telecom.
Adani Data Networks transferred its 400 MHz spectrum to Bharti Airtel and Bharti Hexacom.
This helps Airtel’s 5G expansion.

7. Donald Trump has withdrawn his plan to fire US Fed Chairman Jerome Powell.
Following Trump’s softer stance, US stock futures jumped by nearly 2%, and the dollar strengthened.
However, US-China tariffs still remain high.

8. Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd (MEIL) won NPCIL’s ₹12,800 crore contract for building two 700 MW nuclear reactors at Karnataka’s Kaiga plant.
This is NPCIL’s biggest contract ever.

9. Vietnam’s EV company VinFast will open an assembly plant in India by June-end and another in Indonesia by October.
They are shifting focus from the US to Asia due to high costs and uncertainty.
VinFast has an agreement with Tamil Nadu government for a $2 billion investment.

10. Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) reported a 3.7% rise in Q4 net profit to ₹2,493 crore, beating expectations.
Standalone revenue grew 2.4% to ₹15,214 crore.
The company declared a ₹24 per share final dividend, totaling ₹53 per share for FY25.
