Yes, I love my new position as the California "ambassador" for Portugal.

Storytelling is my life. Ten books, 500+ articles, prize winning journalism in Playboy, the LA Times magazine, LA Magazine, Huffington Post, and Forbes. My two bestselling collaborations with IDEO – The Art of Innovation and Ten Faces of Innovation have sold 750,000 copies, and are found on the bookcases of founders worldwide. The Entrepreneur’s Faces: How Makers, Visionaries and Outsiders Succeed, my book with Susanna Camp, ushers in a fresh human-centric model for entrepreneurs and professionals seeking identity & purpose. Today, I enjoy leading innovation and design thinking seminars for groups from Europe, Portugal, Brazil, and Asia. In English and Portuguese.

My eight works of non-fiction published with major NY houses include The Fugitive Game and The Watchman (translated into more than fourteen languages and optioned for films). Won the NY Press Club award during my stint as a Contributing Editor for Playboy (among my major features, The Persecution of Barry Bonds). Five of my books and articles have been optioned for films.
