This Temple is located in the heart of the Town on a street leading us from the road heading towards Devasamudhram. There is a small Welcome Arch but the Direction Board leading us to this Temple has been mis- spelt as ANJINAYAR. This has to be set right. The Temple is compounded and has a grill gate too. There is a Hall before entering this Temple and small functions could be held there. The Temple is built on a rocky terrain. They follow the Vadakalai Sampradhaya and they have drawn Thiruman Srichoouranam all over the rocky areas within the Temple and they have a few Naga Devathas beneath it. On the left side they have a Goshala and a Madapalli close to each other but they seem to be ill maintained and are in shambles. An Image of an Elephant is drawn on a Rock and close to it is a Valarum or a Growing Nandhi. They believe it to be growing every year by a few millimetres. The Presiding Deity is Kaatu Veera Anjaneyar facing Westwards with a Stone Dwajasthambam before Him. Close to the Main Shrine are the Sub Shrines of Chakrathalwar, Yoga Narasimhar and Urchavamurthigal. There is a separate Shrine for Mahalakshmi Thaayar. Similarly Venkataramana Swamy occupies a separate Sub Shrine and there is an Idol of Garuda with a Metallic Dwajasthambam here. Devotees who come here with a specific Prayer buy a Coconut and wrap it in a Saffron Bag and go round the Main Deity 11 times chanting His name and it is believed that such Prayers would be fulfilled soon. They have earmarked a special place for breaking coconuts. They have small Idols of Lakshmi Narasimhar, Andal, Vishvaksenar and a Ramar Paadham, and close to it is a Floating Stone in Water (similar to those found in Rameswaram) very close to Venkatramana Swamy Sub Shrine. There is a separate sub shrine for Vinayagar which is found close to the Main Deity of Kaatu Veera Anjaneyar Shrine. They have a narrow car parking which is unmanned but can hold upto 20 Cars. Any Devotee would have immense satisfaction on visiting this Temple.
