This trail is located north of Altadena California. Lots of shade, pet friendly. There is parking next to the trailhead, you'll need an Adventure Pass. I got mine at Frank's Liquor Store in Altadena. There's lots of shade, pets are allowed on a leash. There's a few river crossings, if the snow at higher elevations is melting, or if it has recently rained, the river will be high and you will most likely get your shoes wet!
