Man Hid in a Forest for 27 Years

Christopher Thomas Knight left behind his life back in the 80s. After the Chernobyl disaster, this Maine resident left behind everything and everyone he knew, took a tent, and went into the woods. He stayed there for 27 years. Yes. This man hid in a forest for 27 years. This made him the last true hermit, better known as the Maine hermit. He didn't look up how to be a hermit, but instead just started living off the land. He taught himself about surviving in the woods. Many may compare this story to that of Mick Dodge. When you meet Mick Dodge, it is a similar story, except he did not resort to a life of crime. After stealing from hundreds of households, this Maine hermit was arrested.
