A simulation of each category of visual disturbance I have experienced during my brain injury. This video shows 20 symptom categories from 3 years in 90 seconds.

These are:
1. Alice in Wonderland syndrome: Seeing our dog as strangely too small relative to the surroundings.
2. More Alice in Wonderland Syndrome: Seeing people as realistically taller than they really were.
3. Having trouble tracking people's motion. Their position seemed to move around
4. Not recognizing objects I saw minutes before, like our vehicle.
5. Thinking objects had their features changed, like my toothbrush
6. Not recognizing or partially recognizing peoples' faces. Sometimes I knew that I knew the person, I just wasn't sure how I knew them.
7. Seeing lots of facial patterns in things like walls.
8. Seeing what appeared to be red animal eyes in the backyard, but some of its motion was unrealistic.
9. Seeing see anemone patterns in the bushes because someone talked about sea anemones.
10. Seeing tiny bugs or aphid-like things crawling on surfaces.
11. People floating by light ghosts, disappearing and reappearing without continuous motion or continuous speed.
12. Seeing our things likes our cat walking out of the corner of my eye, but when I would turn to look, there was nothing there.
13. Visually busy things like a pile of puzzle pieces would almost blur together into even more complicated patterns that were difficult to distinguish or look at.
14. Words on pages would move and then snap back. Sometimes the page would jump or the colors of the paper would change.
15. Misreading sentences. The sentence that I used in the video and their alternate versions are actual misreadings of mine. Sometimes nearby objects would jump while reading.
16. When walking into a room, sometimes things would just seem off. On one hand, it seemed like everything changed, but on the other it seemed like nothing changed, and I couldn't put my finger on it.
17. Flashing yellow haze filling my field of vision. Pre-seizure migraine aura type symptoms. The actual flashing was much faster, but could be seizure inducing for a viewer.
18. Seeing occasional red and blue LED-like bright spots randomly appearing and disappearing.
19. The environment almost seems blurry or doubled because details were being left out when I was unable to visually process all the information.
20. When closing my eyes at night, I would sometimes see a bright white light or two in the corner of my vision. I would open my eyes to check what it was, and see that the entire room was dark.
