Venerable Master Shi Yan Xiang 释延向法师 from Shaolin Temple of Greece 希腊少林寺 showing how to put on and take off a Chinese Buddhist monk robe (Qi Yi 七衣).

There are three kinds of robes in Chinese Buddhism (三衣):

1. Wu Yi 五衣 with 5 vertical bars or areas each with one long and one short.
2. Qi Yi 七衣 with 7 vertical bars (the one in this video) and each vertical bar consists of two long bars and one short bar.
3. Zu Yi 租衣 with 25 vertical bars and each vertical bar consists of four long bars and one short bar.
