The Lore Explanations for Multiverse Games

MultiVersus is the latest addition to the "giant crossover" subgenre of video games so I figured I would look at other games that incorporate the multiverse to mix all these IP and see which one has the best lore. The contenders are MultiVersus, Fortnite, Dead by Daylight, and Super Smash Brothers. We're going to look at the lore and backstories for each of these and compare them.
