Jet game dev 3 (actually four but im stupid i guess oct 2024)
spend time reworking stuff, added gliding (though i barely show it off), actually using physics stepping now and fixed some camera bugs.
Camera will point toward the jet's forward orientation now so you can see what you're shooting at.
Added a very basic enemy for testing, it's AI will be reworked but meet the Piercer Drone: A little guy that has no weapons, it's objective is to ram into you, and it's good at it as it's faster than you (although bad maneuverability, and in theory low health).
If I were to improve it i'd make the drone avoid other drones, and instead of just going towards your position, it'd try to intercept your flight path, predicting where you're going.
It's pretty much meant to teach the player to not just fly in one direction too long, although I'm thinking of increasing the players initial velocity now.
Nothing is final.
