Australian Adventures-Victoria (Part 3)

This is the second of two parts of our Phillip Island visit. After exploring the cliffs and shores of the Nobbies, we waited till evening to catch the much awaited "Penguin Parade". The island is known as the home of the largest little penuin colony in the world. However, video and picture taking is not allowed once the penguins have surfaced. It took as almost two hours before the first penguins appeared on the shore, then followed them as they seek food on the forest nearby.
The next day after lunch, we headed to the Chocolate Factory, where we learned how they make chocolate and try some samples and make our own chocolate candy as well.
Our last stop was the Heritage Farm on Churchill Island (separated from the main Phillip Island) where we observed farm activities and shows such as sheep shearing, sheep herding by dogs, and whip cracking. They also have farm animal exhibits around which the kids enjoy petting and chasing.
