'Shiels' is a documentary about the shared history, tradition and connection between North and South Shields. People have been crossing the River Tyne by boat as long as there have been communities either side of the water.
The film also looks at the possibilities of closer co-operation between North and South Shields, similar to Newcastle - Gateshead.
