LHX Attack Chopper - Libya Supply Run in Osprey

I fired up old LHX Attack Chopper made by no other than Brent Iverson. The game was released in 1990 for PC and in 1992 for Sega Genesis. The version I'm running comes from my Jane's Fighters Anthology CD1, which was undocumented feature, but nice surprise!

The game featured 3 theatres of operation - Libya, East Germany and Vietnam. You could fly several diverse mission types ranging from escorts, search & destroy to supply runs or medevacs. You could choose more robust AH-64 Apache or UH-60 Blackhawk with cockpits filled mostly with analog gauges, or go modern with V-22 Osprey (rotary/fixed wing hybrid with tilt engines) or futuristic LHX featuring fully glass cockpit.

The gameplay was simple but fun and on higher difficulty levels really challenging. The game engnie was later used for Su-25 Sturmovik and Chuck Yeager's Air Combat.

No camels were hurt during making of this video.
