LUPANG HINIRANG - Luneta flag raising 2015 & 1986

This video of the Philippine national anthem, "Lupang Hinirang", features two separate flag raising ceremonies by two separate but blook-related presidents from two different eras on one same venue: Rizal Park at Luneta, Manila.

One was from Rizal Day 2015 led by the recently-deceased former President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III, his last Rizal Day ceremony before stepping down 6 months later. The other was from Philippine Independence Day 1986 led by his now late mother former President Corazon "Cory" Aquino, her first Luneta flag ceremony since her ascension to power in February of that year.

Flag raising in Luneta was not new to Noynoy for he, alongside his sisters and brothers-in-law, helped his mother in 1986 which was his first.
