Audio Data Processing in MATra-Lab (Basic) | Digital Humanities | Journalistsm | Entertainment

We discuss the basic audio data transcription and annotation interface in MATra Lab, which is a web-based and open-source tool. This is one of the modules of LiFE's pipeline and it helps researchers in digital humanities and computational social sciences, linguists, anthropologists, journalists, educators, etc in audio data transcription and labeling using state-of-the-art NLP models. The transcriptions can be used for training a new model using the app's no-code environment or can be downloaded in multiple file formats (Praat TextGrid, CSV, TSV, JSON, XLSX, LateX, HTML, Markdown) for further tasks.
