Each painting project involves mastering a particular watercolour technique. The ocean series is all about creating beautiful illustrations with a single colour. The happy starfish in Permanent Rose and the Cone Shell in Cobalt turquoise explore how to create shape and form with negative space. Negative space is all about what you don't paint. Enjoy!
