Hello! In this short form video, I describe an issue I was experiencing with my Playstation 5 slim digital edition where it randomly black screened while gaming and was frozen, the PS5 was then stuck on a black screen and refused to display at all on my TV! But I have discovered a fix! The fix is to unplug the Video Output device for about 1-2 minutes from the power outlet. Now this is not to be confused with unplugging the power cable from the TV/Monitor as I also tried this but it did not work for me. The power cable for the TV/Monitor should remain plugged in to the device, while unplugging the power cable from the wall outlet, extension cable, power bar or power surge protector. Leave the power cable unplugged from the outlet for 1-2 minutes, then, proceed to plug the power cable back in to the power outlet, and enjoy as your PS5 should now be displaying properly!

From what I have read from others who have experienced this same issue, it seems to be a re-occuring system software glitch. One that Sony has yet to fix or even acknowledge. Therefor, I may recommend saving this video for the future in case you encounter the same issue and may need a refresher on what needs to be done in order to get your PlayStation 5 back up and running again!
