The folk tune, which is particularly played during the period between Basanta Panchami to Holi Purnima, is called Basanta Tune. This is one of the most popular folk tunes in Nepal. This tune is from Newar, the indigenous community of Nepal from Nepal Mandal which also includes Kathmandu, the capital city of the country.
