🌊 Transformation of Kham River 🌿✨

Once a lifeline for Aurangabad, the Kham River was reduced to a sewage-filled nalah 🏭, choked with industrial waste, plastic, and untreated sewage.

Since 2021, a groundbreaking collaboration 🤝 between EcoSattva, Aurangabad Municipal Corporation, Varroc Foundation, and Aurangabad Cantonment has turned the tide :

✅ 3 LAKH TONS of waste removed, reviving 54 acres of riverbed 🌱
✅ 10 LAKH+ NATIVE TREES 🌳 planted, restoring biodiversity 🦜 and stabilizing banks
✅ WILDLIFE RETURNED 🐦🐠 – Birds, fish, and aquatic life now thrive in rejuvenated habitats 💧

🏞️✨ Eco parks with walking trails, wetlands, and amphitheaters have transformed old dumping sites into vibrant community hubs! 🏕️🎭

This model can be replicated to rejuvinate other rivers as well.
