Why the Empire Replaced Everything with the V-wing

Towards the end of the clone wars, one star fighter started getting more popular than all the other variants used by the Republic Navy. It was called the Alpha-3 Nimbus-class V-wing starfighter, and it had a unique set of characteristic that made it a favorite of Supreme Chancellor Palpatine. The V-wing would one day go on to inspire the creation of the Tie Fighter line.
