Danielle was diagnosed with laryngitis earlier in the week and the band had to cancel 2 shows (Seattle and Vancouver) because her doctor put her on full vocal rest until her vocal chords get better. As a result, Este and Alana took on more singing parts and they all encouraged the fans to sing with them.

Alana (before ‘Little of Your Love’): I don’t know if you know this, but Danielle has been sick. Laryngitis.. And her doctor said she shouldn’t sing…
Danielle: But I said "Fu*k that! I’m going to make this show." My sisters are going to help me out, and I want you to sing along with me!

Alana: It feels so good to play the new record! That was an adventure for both of us. We’ve never played ‘Ready for You’, so that was for you guys!

Danielle (before ‘Falling’): We’re definitely warmed up.
Este: So because we’re warmed up, I feel like for this next song, I’m going to need… some major… ass and titties shaking. lol
Alana: We’re going to be watching you… dance. We’re going to watch you. So keep that in mind :P

Alana: My voice is cracking up like I’m at my bat mitzvah… But this date was so special that my parents are here… I don’t know where they are… Oh! I see my dad. :P

Haim’s parents were in fact in the audience, apparently in the VIP section behind and slightly above the GA pit. At the end of ‘Falling’ Este actually crowdsurfed over there to see them(!) lol

Este: That song (‘That Don't Impress Me Much’) came out in 19…98? Right? So I was maybe like 11 or 12 when that song came out. You know how when you you’re a kid and you hear lyrics and you’re like ‘that’s definitely what she said’? I thought, when she said, ‘I can't believe you kiss your car good night’, I heard ‘I can't believe you kiss your cock at night’. What twisted 12 year-old was I?

Danielle: Este, there’s minors here! Come on! lol
Alana: Our fu*king parents are here dude!
Este: Your daughter at 12 was pretty fu*king weird. I don’t think this is news to you. :P
