This hornpipe seems to me to turn up more in concertina circles than in general sessioning, but maybe that's just a local phenomenon. I don't know who Mickey Callaghan was, but he's got a hornpipe and a slide associated with his name. I had fun with octave-doubling here when I didn't screw it up.

This week I'm playing a borrowed concertina, by Colin Dipper, metal-ended - a bolder tone than I'm used to, and a bit of an adjustment. This is the 37th installment in my project to record a hornpipe each week in 2010. Thanks for listening.
