Car #camping, tent camping, we do both because our tent is attached to our vehicle. This makes it handy and comfortable. I sleep in the Honda on a 4” foam mattress, and Stanley (husband) sleeps on a 4” foam mattress inside the tent. Sometimes Stanley climbs up beside me and we talk about our day. Then he says, “Welp, I guess I’ll go to bed.”

I so enjoy the outdoors, the fresh air, the exercise. I have rheumatoid arthritis which was diagnosed when I was 21. It’s of slow progression but… I am never, never without pain of some sort. I find that keeping active, physically, mentally and emotionally helps my arthritis. For some reason, when I’m at home, my arthritis is worse (more stiffness and pain). So I have a lot of reasons for getting outdoors and being active. I just feel so much better.

I have this theory in life. Whatever we have, whether it is great or small, lots or low supply, pain or no pain, we need to be fully engaged in life, exploring it, enjoying it, finding ways to be creative and have fun.
