Final Fantasy VI T-Edition Gameplay, Day Five (December 5, 2021)

I'm still going though Sabin's scenario in this video. Basically it's all the usual details, but I did find it a surprise to see Gilgamesh as the villain who appeared on the Phantom Train. Unfortunately, he's not as easy as Siegfried, but I was still able to beat him.

Anyway, I used the cheap method of throwing a Phoenix Down at the Phantom Train to defeat it. Normally, I'd try to do it the honest way, but I have gotten messed up at times in the normal game trying to fight the train. The train isn't that hard, but it does have a couple of hard-hitting attacks that randomly occur. I didn't want to risk losing in case this version of the Phantom Train had a new trick.

I ended up going on a Rage Building quest towards the end, as well as a using these battles as a means to raise funds to further that injured soldier sidequest.

I didn't finish the scenario, though. Yes, I'm still taking it slow.
