Baseball commentators don't know all the rules of baseball. And, honestly, it's not a simple as it may seam to know them all, but when you've been commentating on baseball since 1993, you think you'd get most of them right. Here is an example of THREE professional commentators that don't know a basic rule.
The "hands are apart of the bat" is one of the Rule Myths of baseball. Look them up and read them BEFORE being a commentator on any baseball game. Save yourself the embarrassment.
