In this video, Mr. Sumit Saha shared his insights on how an MBA graduate can contribute towards legal work in Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs).

Mr Sumit is a Senior Product Manager handling the Digital Lending process at ECL Finance Limited – The SME Lending vertical of Edelweiss Financial Services. He has pursued MBA and comes with vast experience in the BFSI domain having worked as Business Analyst, Product Manager and Customer Success Manager throughout his career.

In this video, he has explained what is NBFC, the role and responsibilities of a professional working with an NBFC and how an MBA candidate and a digital product manager contribute to legal work. He has also discussed the process of vetting and due diligence of legal agreements for NBFC. Moreover, he has shared how to handle negotiations and revisions of legal agreements with in-house legal teams and counterparties in the NBFC industry.
