How to Replace a Keel Roller on a Boat Trailer

I'll show you how I replaced the old keel roller on my boat trailer. A keel roller is located along the center line of the boat trailer to support the keel of the boat. The keel roller allows your boat to glide smoothly onto your boat trailer and reduces drag when launching. In the case of my 35 year old boat trailer, the keel roller was cracked and the shaft was rusted. It was time for a new one.
