Welcome back to Survival Builder! In this amazing 39-day jungle adventure, we take you step by step through the full process of building an 18-meter high bamboo treehouse, deep in the heart of the forest, surrounded by mountains, palm trees, and a breathtaking waterfall view. This project combines traditional craftsmanship, pure nature, and creative design to make a dream treehouse high above the ground. 🌿🏡
🌳 Day 1–5: Site Preparation & Tree Selection
The project begins with clearing the jungle floor, removing small bushes, and selecting a strong, tall tree with wide roots and healthy branches. We mark the foundation area and prepare bamboo poles and wooden supports. Using only hand tools, ropes, and natural vines, we begin building the base platform. Each pole is tied carefully to ensure balance and safety.
🪵 Day 6–12: Building the Base Platform
Once the foundation is stable, we start constructing the main platform about 10 meters above the ground. The workers use long bamboo trunks to form a cross-frame, creating a strong and flexible base that can handle both wind and movement. The first ladder is built to connect from the ground to the lower platform. The sound of chopping, tying, and hammering fills the forest as the treehouse begins to take shape.
🏠 Day 13–18: Structure and Frame Design
Next, we move on to building the A-frame structure. Using hand-cut bamboo pieces, we create the skeleton of the house. Every part is fitted tightly and bound with natural rope for stability. The walls are woven from flat bamboo sheets, giving the structure both lightness and beauty. The triangular roof frame is set, giving the house its signature shape.
🌅 Day 19–25: Upper Floor & Balcony Construction
As the build rises higher, we add the upper floor and balcony. The view from this level is spectacular — you can see the sun rising over the mountain and the mist rolling across the waterfall. The balcony is built with bamboo railing, creating a peaceful and safe resting area. We install a second ladder leading to the top deck, making the house feel complete and connected.
🔥 Day 26–32: Detailing and Decoration
With the main structure done, it’s time for detail. We design bamboo doors and windows, smooth the flooring, and install small torches around the balcony. Each torch lights up beautifully during sunset, adding a warm and relaxing jungle mood. We polish all bamboo pieces with natural oil for protection against rain and insects.
🛖 Day 33–39: Finishing Touches & Living Space Setup
In the final stage, we complete the roof with dried palm leaves, giving it a traditional jungle style. We build simple furniture — a bamboo bed, small table, and hanging lamp made from vines. Finally, we add ladders, safety ropes, and decorative plants around the tree base. The house stands strong and beautiful — a masterpiece of handcraft and patience.
This 18-meter treehouse was built entirely by hand, using only bamboo, wood, and nature’s materials. It’s not just a structure — it’s a peaceful home in the sky, surrounded by the beauty and calm of the jungle.
