"I led the invasion of Iraq." Highest ranking black Royal Marine tells his remarkable life story

Major Scotty Mills went on a remarkable journey that took him from inner city London to the highest-ranking black officer in the history of the Royal Marines.
In 32 years of service, he fought in four war zones, spearheaded the invasion of Iraq in 2003 and led physical training for all 6,500 of the UK’s Commandos.
But that’s only half the story.
Scotty has also trained Gold medal-winning athletes, broken a World record, worked with England’s football team and, in 2018, received the Most Inspiring Serviceman award from his good friend, Gareth Southgate.
