Hello guys in this video we are going to share the place where Gadbad Ice Cream originated.

Hotel Diana, 60 years old restaurant is one of the most famous and finest restaurants in Udupi this restaurant's founder, Mohandas Pai started this hotel in the year 1960.

We have ordered their first creation, a vegetable cutlet, Gadbad Ice Cream and Light House.

Diana Gadbad is an accidental invention of this eatery nearly 60 years ago when the restaurant’s founder, Mohandas Pai, put together three ice creams because he had very little quantity of each, topped with dry fruits, cashew nuts to feed a large group of customers. And because it was prepared in a ‘gadibidi it came to be known as the Gadbad.

Now, this Gadbad ice cream became world famous.
