🐺 The Mad Monster (1942) Dr. Lorenzo Cameron (George Zucco), a mad scientist who was disgraced by his former colleagues for his theories on blood transfusions.

In an act of vengeance, he experiments on his simple-minded gardener, Petro (Glenn Strange), injecting him with wolf's blood to create a serum that transforms him into a murderous wolf-man under the full moon. Cameron then sends the creature to kill the professors who mocked him.

The murders are investigated by newspaper reporter Tom Gregory (Johnny Downs), who is romantically involved with Cameron's suspicious daughter, Lenora (Anne Nagel). The film culminates in a fiery climax where the uncontrollable monster turns on his creator.
