How to Remove the Joy Con Controllers from the Nintendo Switch (Detach Tutorial)

Removing the Joy-Con controllers from your Nintendo Switch is quite straightforward. Here are the steps:

Attaching the Joy-Con to the Console:

If you have detached the Joy-Con controllers and want to reattach them, simply slide them back onto the sides of the Nintendo Switch console. They will automatically pair with the console.

Detaching the Joy-Con from the Console:
To remove the Joy-Con controllers, follow these steps:
Press the release button located at the back of each Joy-Con.

While holding down the release button, slide the Joy-Con up from the bottom to the top.
