Gopro Hero 9 - do I need the Media Mod?

In this video I test a cheap foam windjammer case on my new Gopro Hero 9 Black to see if I can avoid spending more money on the Gopro Media Mod for vlogging my hiking and camping trips.

Conditions weren't quite as windy as I would have liked, but when I get the chance to test in worse conditions I will add an update to the description and maybe do a short update video.

The windjammer I used can be purchased cheaply from Amazon or e-Bay. See Amazon UK link below to get an idea of the price. I paid just under £5 in the UK (but prices seem to fluctuate and depend on whether it ships locally or from China).
