Dr Klovekorn the Relic Hunter explores one of the most secret and least known German command sites of the Second World War, hidden deep in the forests of the Eifel. Discovered by chance during a drive near Scheuerheck, this vast and shattered bunker complex turns out to be far more than an ordinary Westwall position.

Through on-site exploration and historical research, the ruins are revealed to be the former OKH field headquarters at Forsthaus Hülloch. In the spring of 1940, Generaloberst Walther von Brauchitsch and the German Army High Command directed the invasion of France from this forest command post, working just a few kilometres from Hitler’s nearby headquarters at Felsennest. Four years later, in December 1944, the same site was reactivated by Field Marshal Walter Model as the headquarters of Heeresgruppe B during the Ardennes offensive, Unternehmen Wacht am Rhein, the Battle of the Bulge.

In this detailed 2025 exploration, Dr Klovekorn walks through the extensive bunker ruins, tracing the outlines of what was once a major secret command complex used in two of the most decisive operations on the Western Front. The site is rarely documented, and this film presents one of the first detailed visual records of the remains since the end of the war.
