Why Dawntrail's Story Didn't Work

dawntrail sure was an expansion, wasn't it?? opinions are very, very mixed... and so are mine! a lot of my thoughts on this game are actually pretty unconventional criticisms based on what i've already seen, but i don't want to just say the same thing everyone else is saying. that'd make for a boring video!

so have some more final fantasy xiv dawntrail hot takes! i definitely wasn't happy with a lot of the decisions they made, and i know they have to follow endwalker, but come on. there has to be a better direction for this game to go in. i was at least right about it being fun to play, since it's pretty fun! but the story..? well...

i'm iska, and i'm an independent vtuber! i don't stream yet but maybe i will one day. for now i just make videos on things i like. i drew and rigged my own model and i edit everything myself too, so please be nice.
