Gibson Custom's True Historic Series feature replica-level detailing, from plastics recreated based on lab analysis of original parts from the 1950s, to double-cut top and neck profiles and thin, hand-sanded finishes.

The True Historic '57 Les Paul Goldtop is an accurate replica of these highly valuable guitars, and is based on the model year when Gibson replaced the P90s with PAF humbuckers. It is one of the most complete, accurate and refined recreations of the guitars that make up the mid-century legend of Gibson's solid body range.

The True Historic '57 Les Paul Reissue from 2016 comes as close as you can get to owning an original 1957 Les Paul. This guitar is in excellent condition and has only a few light playwear marks apart from aging. Travels in the original hardshell case with certificate of authenticity.
