Two guys who have never met in person create music together. Here's how it went. A visit to the ruined Cambodian temple inspired Mark in Taiwan to write some lyrics. He emailed them to his friend, Larry, thousands of miles away in Connecticut, USA. After a few days, Larry emailed back an mp3 of a complete composition! Mark put the mp3 on a track in his own recording setup and played some guitars, added vocals, and Chapman Stick, sending WAV files back to Larry. Back and forth they went, continuing to refine the piece until they deemed it "done." What this doesn't describe is all the email discussions, the re-recording of various parts, Mark's weaving together of the sounds for the intro/outro, and Larry's brilliant mixing of over a hundred tracks!
