This intuitive piece is painted on an 18" x 36" landscape canvas with a warm, yet light color palette—featuring earthy ochres, soft whites, deep browns, and golden highlights.

I start by building soft blends with a paddle brush, then carve in bold shapes using palette knives. For crisp edges and contrast, I bring in a plastic spreader. The final touches come alive with thick, dimensional impasto—highlighted with metallic gold for that extra shimmer.

This piece was entirely led by the painting itself—no sketch, no plan, just flow.
