Naming a business is part of your brand strategy and marketing strategy.

It's actually not the first thing that a potential customer will be interested in, but it might be obsessive like naming a baby.

You want that name to be catchy, trendy but durable, easy to pronounce and write, etc...

And it's probably already taken, then.

For instance, Apple is a great name, but you can't name your financial services business like that.

An apple is a delicious fruit, the forbidden fruit, not necessary for our survival, but still very useful to stay perfectly healthy.

But still, people will immediately recall the computers company and push your business outside of the "financial services" category.

No matter how hard you can show up as a financial services business, in the back of their mind they'll always have that little voce saying "computers, not finance!".

In the same way, you want it to not remind of the bad part of your industry.

For instance, near here, there's a computer shop, selling and repairing computers, calle Micro Hell.

People know computers are a Hell of Micro stuff that can break, it will not be reparable and the computer will possibly "go to hell".

Indeed, technicians only call on them.

Normal people is already in hell and it's unlikely that going to another hell will help them get out of it.

Micro Angels or Hope For Micro or even "Soft Micro" would have served their business a lot better.

Your business name must be simple and make people recall their problem solved.

Avoid words that can remind them of the problem.
