Fuel odor in the cabin 2015 - 2016 CRV leaking valve cover gasket may be the problem. Fuel does end up in the oil on these engines do to direct fuel injection on cold starts, fuel makes ir past the piston rings and ends up diluting the oil with fuel. Make sure to change the oil every 5K miles or less. Honda gets a big F on this engine design.
