Moving Forward with Grief | Ray Singleton | A Black Love Mini Doc

Grief is a complex and personal experience that looks very different for all of us. How it feels, when it starts, how long it lasts - it all varies from person to person. Ray sat down with us to discuss his experience after losing his beloved wife of 4 years, Roslyn, who left behind such a positive legacy. One of the ways Ray was able to cope with everything was keeping her positive mindset alive - continuing to trust in God, being grateful for the time they had together, and remembering that her smile which was so bright while she was here, is still shining bright up in heaven 🙌🏾

Ray and Ros joined the Black Love family in 2020 when they joined the Black Love Summit in virtually and they were honored to have them join the final season of the Black Love Docuseries and After Love last year. Despite her being in the midst of cancer treatment, she was always a ball of vibrant energy that was contagious - like Ray said, she was always smiling and making others around her smile. We were honored to share their journey then and now.

We be spoke more with Ray about what life looks like after losing a partner, and the importance of community in his healing journey 🖤
