THY RESURRECTION, OH CHRIST... JAROFF'S DON COSSACKS

Thy Resurrection, O Christ our Saviour, the angels in heaven sing!
Enable us on earth, to glorify Thee with purity of hearth.
Christ is Risen from the dead: trampling down death by death,
and upon those in the tombs bestowing Life!
Don Cossacks directed by S. Jaroff are singing these two Easter songs.
The accompanying bells ringing I find quite disturbing, however these songs are always
interpreted by tradition with the bells ringing during the Easter mass that is the main event in the orthodox liturgy.
