The splendid town of Cote D' Or is one of the three tourist centers on the island (the other two are Baia Sant ' Anna and Grand ' Anse on the west coast), it has various accommodation options from villas like the one where I was:

The port is located in Baia Sant'Anna which is a place where there are no beautiful beaches.
The third zone of Praslin , Grand' Anse is equipped with a good number of accommodations of all types . Between May and October the beach is full of algae and not suitable for swimming.

Getting around by bus on Praslin is not very complicated given the presence of just a few lines. Here on the official transport website you can see both the routes and the lines:

As for Mahe, here too the cost of a ride is 12 rupees regardless of the number of stops.
All buses pass through the Baia Sant'Anna jetty where ferries arrive from Mahe and La Digue.
