Today you can get a 2018 Model X for about $65K-$75K. Pretty reasonable if your ok getting one without a warranty. Brand new these were about $100K.

The 2018 Tesla Model X comes in three main trim levels: 75D, 100D, and P100D. The major difference between the three is the driving range, but even the base trim lets you drive more than 200 miles on a single charge, which should satisfy most.

Tesla Model X 100D: The Model X 100D features a larger battery pack that provides 295 miles of all-electric range. It comes with the same features and offerings as the base trim.

Tesla Model X P100D: As the high-performance edition of the lineup, the P100D drops a few miles of range – down to 289 – but gains a Ludicrous Speed upgrade that helps it bolt from zero to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds. It also includes heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, an in-cabin air filter, and a premium stereo with 17 speakers.

The Model S has a lot in common with the Model X. Both electric vehicles have brisk acceleration, lots of cargo space, and fantastic range. Both also come with standard all-wheel drive but don’t have Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Model X has more passenger and cargo space, but the Model S has a nicer cabin, a longer range in its base trim (259 miles to the Model X’s 238), and better handling. The Model S also has a much lower average price. Unless you need the extra space, the Model S is a smarter pick.
