Ahhh Dephemerember, oh how I have missed you. Believe it or not I’ve missed the late-night panics about trying to get videos filmed, edited and published in a record amount of time, okay maybe not that bit of it, but I definitely missed the challenge issued to my creative juices. My mojo has been lacking and I think I have worked out why. Dephemerember has ruined me for ordinary creating – just kidding, but it does have the ability to instantly break whatever creative block you might have been feeling.

Anyway, to the task at hand. If you’ve been following my channel over the past few weeks, you will no doubt have seen the process of creating my journal for Dephemerember and you may have garnered that I am in love with it. I could happily leave it as an empty journal and look at it over and over again and never get bored. The good news is, that I’m actually going to get to play amongst all that loveliness as I step up to the challenge of the prompt list from Barbara @49dragonflies and Luise @luiseheinzl.

This year I am heading into the challenge with a clear plan in mind. It kind of was my plan last year, but amongst all the thrill and excitement and panic of my first year, I kind of lost my way. I still achieved what I wanted but not a clearly as I would have liked but this year, there is a plan.

I’ve made up a list of all the different types of ephemera that I could think of and it’s seven or eight pages long. I’m a visual creator. I need to see things to decide what goes together, or what something should look like, so a visual representation of all these different types of ephemera would be really, really, helpful. So that is the plan. As many different types of ephemera as I can come up with.

The best part of the plan is that by creating and posting the videos of my making all this ephemera, not only do I have a reference but so do all my subscribers and any other viewers of my videos. Hopefully when you (or I) are stuck for an idea, we can look through these videos for a refresher on how to make a particular type of ephemera as well as getting ideas on how to add some Moxy and some Mojo to our creating.
