Martin Luther King III On Donald Trump Assassination Attempts: 'We Have To Look At Society'

Al Arabiya English is joined by Martin Luther King III, civil rights activist and son of famous political and civil rights activist Martin Luther King, for an exclusive interview discussing the recent assassination attempts on former President Donald Trump, and what has led society to feel the need to use such violent force against politicians.

Martin Luther King III says a number of things about our society have allowed something like this to fester, referencing discrimination as well as limited restrictions on firearms across the US. The suspect who attempted to take the life of the former President is reported to have used a modified AK-47 assault rifle.

Martin also goes on to describe Donald Trump's post on his social platform 'Truth' about Taylor Swift 'childish', after Trump had posted "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!" on his account hours before the attempt on his life at a golf course in Florida.
