Wouldn’t it be nice if you could access your User Guide, warranty information and radio manual right through your vehicle’s touchscreen? Now you can, with the Uconnect system’s Vehicle User Guide. The Vehicle User Guide lets you explore every aspect of your vehicle’s operation and maintenance. To access the Guide, just press the VEHICLE USER GUIDE icon in your app drawer or APPS MANAGER menu.

Let’s say a warning light appears. Launch the guide and head into INDEX. There’s the ICON GLOSSARY, which explains every symbol and icon your vehicle might throw at you. Browse through ‘til you spot the symbol in question. There it is. And here’s what it means.

You can explore the guide via 4 main categories: VEHICLE OPERATION for general operation topics; RADIO, PHONE & NAVIGATION for all things Uconnect; VEHICLE MAINTENANCE lets you check fluid levels and maintenance schedules, while EMERGENCY & SUPPORT gives you Customer Assistance, Emergency Procedures and Warranty Information.

To locate a topic, just select the appropriate main category. Let’s try VEHICLE OPERATION. Scroll through submenus like WARNING LIGHTS, DRIVING CONTROLS and COMFORT. After selecting the submenu topic, select a topic and then you can read through that User Guide section. Add it to your FAVORITES, if you like. You can enlarge photos with just a tap of your finger or click through to other sections that are cross-referenced.

The tabs along the top give you 4 other ways to browse your User Guide information. Use EXPLORE to browse the vehicle visually. Just press on various parts of the car to view the associated User Guide topics.

If you’re looking for information about changing oil, you can SEARCH by keywords. Type in “Oil Change” and there you go… all the related Topics. Head over to FAVORITES, and there’s the Favorite we just added.

Or visit the Guide’s convenient INDEX, which lets you search topics alphabetically.

So, relax and drive. With the Vehicle User Guide, all the answers are right there at your fingertips.
